Duinen van Texel National Park

Duinen van Texel National Park covers an area of 4,300 hectares, it is the largest Wadden Sea island, supporting wet dune valleys, dry dunes, woodland, heathland, salt marshes and extensive beaches. De Slufter, a salt marsh, and De Hors, a large sandbank are perhaps its best-known features. The park is renowned for its diverse bird population. The logo of the Duinen van Texel National Park sports a spoonbill.
